During each painless treatment, laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain.
As the injured area returns to normal, function is restored and pain is relieved.

Why Laser Therapy?

Class IV K-Laser Therapy is an FDA cleared therapeutic treatment that manages pain and inflammation while accelerating tissue regeneration. Laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasm, stiffness and pain.

How K-Laser Therapy Works

K-Laser Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal.  This creates greatly reduced healing time, pain reduction, increased blood circulation and decreased swelling.

What Should I Expect to Feel During Treatment?

Typically one feels a mild, soothing warmth or tingling. Patients usually report a comforting sensation as they are being treated. K-Laser treatments are extremely safe when applied properly by a K-Laser certified medical professional.

Natural Healing Without Pain, Drugs or Surgery

The Laser Centers of Asheville and Black Mountain’s High Powered Class IV K-Lasers deliver specific wavelengths of infrared laser light creating a strong tissue healing effect. This effect creates rapid healing by increasing circulation and greatly minimizing inflammation and pain. Lasers have been used in Europe since 1970 and have been cleared in 2005 to be used for pain reduction by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The Science & Research

During Laser Therapy at our Laser Centers in Black Mountain and Asheville, laser beams interact with body tissues deep down at the cellular level stimulating metabolic activity within the cell. This greatly improves the transport of nutrients across the cell membrane enabling the cells at the site of damaged tissue to generate a greater production of cellular energy (ATP). This sharp increase in energy production within the cells increases cellular function and tissue repair. There are more than 2500 worldwide published studies on the benefits of laser therapy.

What our Patients say about us…

I’m feeling better than I’ve felt in a long time!  The K-Laser on my bone-on-bone knee and stiff shoulder gets me back on the court performing with way less pain and better range of motion.  What a great combination.  I’m feeling great.

For 9 months my groin, hip and lower back was in intense pain.  I had seen multiple doctors, tried medication and cortisone shots.  I had to stop playing tennis and golf the pain was so bad.  Since having K-Laser Therapy, Spinal adjustments and massage, I am finally turning the corner.  I can now do my PT exercises without the pain.
